Water-way paint covered steel pipe joint coat "Raycover/WPCD"

Based on Japan water-way steel pipe association standard (WSP012 water-way paint covering steel pipe joint coat)

Anti-corrosive material with extremely excellent performance.
"Raycover/WPCD" is an anti-corrosive material having extremely excellent performance and used for outer surface corrosion prevention of ground weld splicer of water-way paint covered steel pipe.
By heating with a propane torch, the further shrank crosslinked polyethylene base material and adhesive material of the mastick coating are combined.
Furthermore, "Raycover/WPCD" is depends on the heat shrunk sheet, and is formed from the closure patch which combines the sealing material of rubber mastick used and the same sheet. It is also recommended in the use of water transportation paint covered steel pipes for tap water, sewage, industrial water, and farming water, and outer surface corrosion prevention of circulatory water pipes for electrical power.

To protect the steel pipe system connecting electrolytes (water or earch),
a coating must have high electrical resistance, and low permeability to hydrogen and oxygen. The coating must be physically and chemically stable.
In addition to this, if referring to separate working, for example, a high drive temperature, a pipeline coating with certain properties becomes necessary.

The main purpose of crosslinked products often referred to as "packing" is to protect from electric current, permeation, and physical forces. Adhesives provide long term bonding of the packing to pipes. Thereby, increasing the electrical resistance and physical strength of one layer. The thickness of the packing and adhesive varies depending on the required conditions of the working.
